What makes FLAT Rigs™ the Best? We use 100% EPDM cords as the “shock” component of the outrigger cord. These polymer cords contain no rubber and will not blacken an angler’s hands or boat gunnels for the life of the cord. Our EPDM shock cords are UV Resistant and Waterproof. If you still aren’t convinced, we offer a 3-YEAR WARRANTY against breakage, excessive stretch, chaffing, or corrosion. In addition, the more durable EPDM allows for increased tensioning of halyard lines vs. traditional bungee cords. This greater tensioning reduces “pole bounce” that preserves your outrigger mounts while providing trolled baits a more consistent presentation.
